About the event

The knife is the first thing you grab to begin cooking and can make or break your cooking experience. We want you to fly through food prep and enjoy the cooking experience safely with properly sharp knives and plenty of knowledge. So, let's talk through all the nitty-gritty of these beautiful blades: Which one to use; What and Where to buy; How to care for and store; Which cuts make sense...then practice all the cuts to develop your own big knife energy! If that wasn't enough, we firmly believe in NEVER wasting food so we will cook up what you cut into Spanish Tortilla, Rustic Tarts, and a Seasonal Salad and Fajitas for snack and to take home with copies of the recipes!

*Special Offer* Dropoff your knives at The Hive Kitchen up to 48 hours before class and Erik will have them ready-to-go by class time. Please note, this is an extra charge and the full list of services and prices can be found on his website: www.eriktheblade.com*
